Launch of AMP+ HVA 800 High-Voltage Connectors for 800V EV Platforms

TE Connectivity has launched the AMP+ HVA 800 high-voltage connector, designed specifically for 800V electric vehicle battery systems. Already adopted by leading EV manufacturers such as BYD and NIO, the connector offers higher power density and a more compact form factor, enabling faster charging and greater system efficiency.

Additionally, TE is working with Tesla to develop integrated battery-pack CONNECTORS that reduce wiring complexity by up to 30%.
